About LH
LH was founded by Lily Herbert, a 21-year-old designer based in Paris, shortly after graduating from fashion school.
Throughout her studies, one influence consistently shaped her work: the optimism of the 1960s. Drawn to the era's vision of the future, its architecture, interiors and industrial design, she became fascinated by the way people once imagined tomorrow, not through cold technology, but through warmth, elegance and hope.
Rather than recreating vintage garments, LH reinterprets this retro-futuristic vision for today. The brand explores how the future can feel softer, more human and timeless, translating these ideas into contemporary silhouettes, refined proportions and carefully considered materials.
The creation of LH became possible through the support of La Fondation de la Mode, whose commitment to nurturing emerging designers helped bring the project to life. Every piece is designed and developed in Paris in collaboration with local ateliers.
LH is committed to a more responsible approach to fashion. Each collection is produced primarily through a made-to-order model to reduce unnecessary overproduction, while many fabrics are upcycled from the surplus stocks of leading luxury fashion houses and combined with carefully selected materials chosen for their quality and longevity.
LH believes in creating fewer, better pieces, garments designed to be worn, kept, and appreciated beyond the pace of seasonal trends.
